Take the gorgeous Bridge of Lions, just steps away from our St. Augustine Bed and Breakfast, over to Anastasia Island where you will find beautiful, sandy beaches, the St. Johns County Pier, a playground, pavilion, fishing pier, volleyball courts, bait shops, fine Restaurants in St Augustine Beach and St. Augustine Shopping. St Augustine Beach is the Old City’s most famous beach and the most popular beach in St. Johns County. Enjoy the sun and sand on St Augustine Beach, just four miles from Historic Downtown St. Augustine. St. Augustine Beach is highly accessible and allows for both fishing and vehicular access with a small fee.

Anastasia Island Florida State Park
Also on Anastasia Island, just north of St. Augustine Beach is Anastasia Island Florida State Park. Located on St. Augustine Inlet, just about a mile from our Downtown St. Augustine Accommodations, Anastasia Island Florida is a well preserved area of beach and inlet waterway. For the best exploring, windsurfing, kayaking, hiking, biking, and camping in St. Augustine, look no further than Anastasia Island Florida State Park. The beaches in Anastasia Island State Park are very family friendly with a lifeguard on duty from Memorial Day through Labor Day and driving prohibited on the beach. Boasting four miles of wide sandy beaches, the Anastasia State Park beaches offer the perfect day along the coast. For the nature lover wanting to catch sight of birds, abundant plant life and numerous turtles and wildflowers, Anastasia State Park is a wonderland of preserved dune, marsh and hardwood hammock habitats.

Vilano Beach
Just three miles from our Bed and Breakfast St Augustine FL is Vilano Beach. Vilano Beach is north of Anastasia Island and accessed via the Milano Beach Causeway. This beach is touted as the “best-kept secret” among locals due to its beautiful beaches and smaller crowds. Featuring a fishing pier, parasailing and Sea Doo rentals, in addition to waterfront St. Augustine Restaurants, Vilano Beach is a happening place. Surfside Park, located at 3070 Coastal Hwy, is a great place to park when visiting Vilano Beach. The park offers beach access, outdoor showers and a picnic shelter. Like St. Augustine Beach, vehicles are permitted on the beach in designated areas.
